University of Kansas - Fostering Jayhawk Success

Fostering Jayhawk Success is an embedded program in KU’s TRIO Supportive Education Services, and aims to encourage academic and personal success, as well as degree completion, for students who have been in foster care. Our program offers a single point of contact to help students identify resources and services, access to a network of staff, faculty and fellow students who are knowledgeable about programs and policies related to the foster care system, and priority admission to our TRIO SES & STEM opportunity programs, which can provide direct, personalized support.
