FSM Life Domains Webinar Series: The Education Domain

This webinar provides an an overview of the education life domain, one of the seven life domains identified by Casey Family Programs (2006) as a way to organize and address the needs of students with experience in foster care. At Western Michigan University, the Center for Fostering Success adapted the Casey framework so that education is the central focus of support offered to students, with stability in other life domains integrally tied to the understanding of what alumni of foster care need to thrive and succeed in college (Unrau, 2012). This webinar will focuses on the education domain, why and how we orient our work around it, and available related resources to help students succeed in college.
