Kalamazoo Valley Community College

At Kalamazoo Valley Community College, we provide high quality instruction and personalized service to help you enter the job market, upgrade your skills, or change careers. No matter what your educational goals are, we're ready to help you attain them.

Is your long-term goal to earn a Bachelor's degree? Kalamazoo Valley Community College offers many programs that are transferable to four-year universities. Check out our Transfer program outlines and course equivalency sheets, or make an appointment with a Counselor to discuss your options.

We also have many two-year Associate degrees and one year Certificate programs designed to get you into the workforce as quickly as possible.

Of course, we understand not everyone is on a degree path. If you are interested in a refresher course, expanding your personal intersts, or getting fit, we're confident we have the course for you. Not interested in receiving credit or a grade? Consider auditing the class while fully benefitting from all course activities and College services.

Our class sizes allow for plenty of personal contact with instructors and the opportunity to get to know your classmates. Our low student to faculty ratio means students are well prepared for their job or to transfer on to a four year university. We provide a variety of teaching methods to make our courses convenient and accessible to you. Day, evening, and weekend courses, telecourses, internet courses and self-paced courses are available to meet your scheduling needs.

Give us a chance and we're sure you'll agree with one of our recent graduates who told us "KVCC is a great place to learn. The class sizes are great! And, the teachers are always willing to work with students. At KVCC I feel like a person, not a number."
