Western Michigan University - Seita Scholars Program

The Seita Scholars Program is a tuition scholarship and campus support program for Western Michigan University students who have lived some or all of their teenage years in foster care. The scholarsip pays for tuituion of undergraduate courses at WMU. Books, fees, housing, food and other living expenses are not included in the scholarship; however , most or all of these costs may be covered by financial aid and available state support, thereby making it possible for a Seita Scholar to ean an undergraduate degree with few or no student loans.  All Seita Scholar are provided with a campus coach for academic and personal suppott, career mentors, support with basic living needs, and emergency suppott as needed. The Seita Scholarship requires that students participate in the Seita Scholars Program and is only offered to fall semester admits to WMU.
